Here’s my recipe for a Coconut and Lime Graham pie crust.
For 9.5″ pie crust:
- 9.5″ Pie pan
- 2 packs of original flavor Nabisco Honey Maid graham cracker’s – about 19 crackers
- 1 stick butter – melted
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 pk true lime
- 1 tsp lime zest
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp shredded toasted coconut
Pre-Heat oven to 400 deg.
Step 1 – With your fists, crush all the graham crackers until it resembles the second picture
Step 2 – Mix in the packet of True Lime
Step 3 – Mix in lime zest
Step 4 – Sprinkle in lime juice – Don’t add the lime juice on one spot. Spread it around the mix. This will avoid clumping
Step 5 – Add in coconut sugar
Step 6 – Add the shredded coconut
Step 7 – Slowly… and sprinkling around… add the melted butter while mixing the batter
Step 8 – Form your pie crust. Let sit for 1 minute then with a paper towel, pat to remove the excess butter. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
